Luna Holiday Complex - Mellieħa

Luna Holiday Complex offers self-catering accommodation 400 metres away from the beach on Mellieha Bay. It features 2 outdoor swimming pools, an indoor pool for winter months and a range of bars and restaurants.

Luna Holiday apartments are well equipped with a kitchenette and living area. Free WiFi is available in the lobby.

A continental breakfast is available daily.

This 3-star complex also features a small grocery market, a diving centre and Fitness Gym.

The hotel day starts from hour 15:00 and ends at 11:00.

Towels are changed every 2 days, while cleaning takes place every 4 days.

When booking a Non-Refundable Rate, please make sure that the name on the credit card used for the booking corresponds to the guest staying at the property. Otherwise, a third-party authorisation by the cardholder must be submitted when booking. Please note that the credit card used for the booking must be shown at check-in.

Please note that the property can only accommodate dogs with a maximum weight of 20 kg or less. Fees apply on check in and a damage deposit is required.

Please note that a maximum of 1 pet is allowed per apartment.

Please note that pets are only allowed in Standard Studio and Superior Family apartments, both located in block 2 of our property.

The roof-top pool has an age restriction, following the local health and safety regulations: it is for people 17+.

The guest will be required to provide a valid creditdebit card. A pre-authorisation of a minimum of EUR 50 and up to EUR 100 will be blocked until the guest departs from our property. No cash deposits are accepted.

Minimum pre-authorisation depends on the room type booked.

Upon check-out, we will refund the pre-authorised charge to the guests card, but it may take longer depending on the guests bank.

Please note that excavation works at the back of the complex started on October 19th, 2024, by third-party contractors. During this period, guests may experience some noise.

Please note that road works at the side of the complex started on January2026, by third-party contractors. Entrance to hotel remains accessible and alternative pick up points are available. During this period, guests may experience some noise.

Please note that renovation work of the main lobby will be carried out from November 25th, 2025 to April 15th, 2026 from 08:00 to 18:00 daily.

Standard Studio. Self-catering studio with balcony. It offers views of the village of Mellieha or the swimming pool. The seating area can be equipped with a sofa bed. ;
Superior Studio. This large, self-catering studio has air conditioning and a private balcony. It offers views of the village of Mellieha, or of the Lunas internal courtyard. Please note that some of this studios are facing third party properties, fewer of those offer a Juliette balcony. We allocate randomly according to property needs. ;
Superior Family Apartment. Featuring a balcony and a seating area, this apartment comes with air conditioning, a kitchenette with an oven and a flat-screen TV. The bathroom includes an hairdryer. Some apartments are in the annex building and may be accessible only by stairs. The layout of Superior Family apartments can differ depending on the location of the room and each Superior Family apartment consists of 2 separate bedrooms offering same amenities. ;
Penthouse Suite. Our Newly refurbished Penthouse Suites located on the top floor offers an open plan kitchen, dining, and lounge area, along with two bedrooms and a private terrace with sunbeds. This luxurious space is perfect for both couples looking for a romantic escape and families in search of quality time together. The Penthouse Suite also comes with a private veranda and outdoor dining area. Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity, as we only have two Penthouse Suites available. The two suites have a slightly different configuration but have the same amenities.
